Prisoners Humiliated
The MWL condemns any and all acts
which debase the dignity of individuals. God has granted the children
of Adam dignity, and it is up to those who follow God's commands to
uphold that dignity. Actions of humiliation, torture and oppression
run counter to God's teachings and are considered reprehensible. God
has ordained us to follow the best of ways, and He is the Ultimate
Judge. In the case of prisoners of war or criminals, we must still
uphold the high moral standards to treat the individuals with dignity,
and in cases where individuals may be innocent, there must be due
process to serve His justice. He is the All-Forgiving and All-Knowing;
may He guide us to the righteous path.
