| Brutal Killing
The
MWL is outraged by the brutal killing of Mr. Paul Johnson, Jr.
We extend our condolences to the family for their loss and may God
give them the strength to cope. The act of decapitation
represents an attitude of "vengeance" and a disregard for
human life and dignity. As believers, we cherish life, which God
has granted us and we act in the spirit of peace to work deeds of
righteousness to benefit humanity as a whole. We do not commit acts of
aggression randomly. There is no justification for random
kidnapping and murder of individuals because of association. This is
not an act of believers submitting themselves to the One God, All
Knowing, All Merciful; rather it is the act of those who have
given up on God and abdicated their responsibility of acting as
vice-gerents on earth.
